Farina

Live

Modern-casual Italian — order and book in Arabic or English.

Farina 1

Farina is a demonstration project — a complete, working restaurant site we designed and built ourselves to show what online ordering for Kuwait can be. There's no client behind it: we built it end to end, from the brand to the checkout, so a prospective client can explore the real thing instead of reading a description.

At a glance

  • Online ordering with a cart and checkout
  • KNET payments via MyFatoorah — plus cards and Apple Pay
  • Table reservations with automatic confirmations
  • Full Arabic and English, right-to-left done properly
  • Brand identity and menu content designed from scratch

Why we built it

Most restaurant sites in Kuwait stop at a photo of the menu and a phone number. We wanted to show a higher bar: a site whose real job is to take orders and reservations, that speaks Arabic as naturally as English, and that pays the way Kuwait actually pays.

A brand from a blank slate

Farina started with nothing — no name, logo, or look. We created a modern-casual Italian identity — type, colour, and layout — and used AI-generated food photography to fill the menu convincingly, so the whole thing reads like a real restaurant rather than a template.

Ordering, payments, and booking

Customers browse the menu, add to a cart, and pay online through KNET — the method most of Kuwait uses — via MyFatoorah, alongside cards and Apple Pay. It's built for real transactions, not a mockup. A time-slot system handles table reservations and sends automatic confirmations, so the site runs the restaurant's day rather than just showing its image.

Arabic and English, done right

Every screen works equally in Arabic and English, mirrored correctly for right-to-left — not English text with Arabic pasted on top. For a Kuwait audience, that difference is the whole experience.
